Korean Air Lines picked up its first Boeing 747-8 this week, joining Lufthansa and Air China as the only major commercial airlines operating the newest 747 model.
I think we can assume Korean received a fantastic deal on these airplanes, which are not exactly the hottest airframes on the market. They're more fuel efficient than the earlier models of the planes, but they're gas guzzlers compared to newer-generaetion Boeing 787s and Airbus A350s.
I was not invited to the handover ceremony, but I followed along on social media. So here is some of what we learned about Korean's first new Boeing 747-8.
What do you think? Would you go out of your way to fly Korean's new Boeing 747-8?
