Delta Air Lines was among the first airlines to make a major investment in onboard internet, and now almost all of the carrier's U.S. flights - including most Delta Connection flights - have some connection.
But international travelers on Delta have not been as fortunate. The airline has been slower in adding connectivity to planes flying long-haul routes.
But I spoke to a Delta executive this week, and I learned this information:
- As of mid-June 61% of Delta's 'transoceanic fleet' has wifi.
- But year-end, Delta will have wifi on 85% of that fleet.
