Video: About that airline-themed Doritos ad during the Super Bowl

Did you see the Doritos airline-themed commercial on the Super Bowl broadcast?

No surprise here. It was filmed at Air Hollywood, a production house near Los Angeles specializing in realistic airline sets. You've seen their airplanes in "Bridesmaids" and "The Wolf of Wall Street," among many other productions. Their dedication to realism is impressive.

Air Hollywood is also home to the "Pan Am Experience." As part of the experience -- which I reviewed here last year - you can spend four hours on a perfect mockup of a 1970s era Pan Am 747. You're served real airline food by flight attendants wearing period costumes. It costs a fortune, but the experience is worth it, if you can afford it.

As for that Doritos ad, it's called "Middle Seat," and it's kind of amusing. If you want to learn more about the ad's backstory - it was produced by an amateur -  read this Chicago Tribune article.  Watch it below.
