Southwest Airlines wants you to know it has swagger.
Such is the theme of a new television commercial. The ad, which appears to be shot in my hometown of Los Angeles, is a major departure from the airline's homespun commercials of years past. Southwest wants you to know that is a major player in U.S. aviation, on par with United, American and Delta. Of course, it still wants you to know that bags fly free.
What do you think of the ad? And that is Los Angeles, right?
UPDATE: A commenter tells me that the city in the background is actually Houston.
