In a well-honored blogging tradition, I shall now resort to bribery to win readers.
First, some trivia. Our question comes courtesy of JetBlue Airways, which allowed me to shadow some of its employees at a recent airline food trade show.
I learned JetBlue sells five snack boxes on board. They all have cute names -- Beef Up, Shape, Up, Mix It Up, Cheer Up, and Cue It Up -- and sell for $6.
Here's the question: Which one of these boxes is the best seller? It accounts for more than 30 percent of all sales. (If you need a primer on what is inside each box, you can find it here.)
Leave your guesses in the comments section. I'll randomly select one winner from all the correct guesses. And as long as you live in the United States, I'll mail you this week's prize.
Now, the prize.
It's a model of a Frontier Airlines Airbus A320 painted in the carrier's new (September 2014) paint job. It's a little on the busy side, and not every one likes it. But, alas, you'll soon be seeing it at an airport near you.
Want more airline news?
JetBlue Airways said Monday it will upgrade its 130 Airbus A320s from nose-to-tail beginning in 2017, adding large high-definition television screens with more than 100 channels, in-seat power and fancy LED lighting.
The airline is shrinking legroom, bathrooms and galleys so it can add 12 seats to each plane. JetBlue will also put in 10 new seats on many of its A321s - the ones that now have 190 seats - but those planes are relatively new and won't be overhauled.
"We are still confident that when you sit in the seat you will find it is an overall better experience," Jamie Perry, JetBlue's vice president for brand and product development, tells briansumers.com. "I know this is good, and I know customers are going to like it."
